Michael’s understanding of protective packaging runs deep. With over 35 years of experience manufacturing a broad range of packaging for items such as car bumpers, rare antiquities, archival quality packaging, POP displays and print consumables. His strength is determining the customer’s needs, developing the concept for a total packaging solution including just in time shipping systems and reusable packaging, and then putting it into production. “I’m on a mission to create a company that offers customers a total protective packaging solution that makes a difference in their lives. I can envision the product as it moves through the supply chain and foresee how I can help company productivity. I always think about how our end users will be handling and using our products on the production line. I want to be sure they are super productive and loving what we make. I also want to enhance the protective packaging experience for the consumer as well. Removing the product from the box and disposing of the packaging easily is important to a consumer, and our air-chamber technology allows for that. As a bonus, customers like the high-tech look and the eco- friendly aspect.” Making the planet a better place by working with high-tech, eco-friendly materials is important to Michael. “I really enjoy seeing customers’ faces light up when they see our packaging for the first time. You see, it’s not just about technology, it’s about using the technology to help customers improve their bottom line and reduce their carbon footprint.” During his leisure time, Michael volunteers at Mt. Tremblant ski patrol, where he is a team leader, ensuring mountain safety. He has also volunteered at the Pet Therapy program in the palliative care and geriatric sections of the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. “I’m passionate about life, not just technology,” says Michael.
